Webster University Thailand is a small, closely-knit family of students, faculty and staff occupying a delightful rural campus, situated close to the resort towns of Cha-am and Hua Hin. It is located approximately 185 Kilometers south of Bangkok. At the Cha-am campus, mainly undergraduates follow their chosen degree programs, while graduate students occupy outstanding facilities at the Bangkok Centre, which is within walking distance of the major shopping facilities around Siam Square in the enchanting city of Bangkok.

Accreditations

Webster University is accredited in the US by the Higher Learning Commission, member North Central Association. Webster in Thailand is accredited by the Thailand Commission of Higher Education.

Facilities

The main campus includes three connected buildings that contain classrooms, computer labs, student lounges, student services, faculty and administrative offices. The adjacent library offers online access to Webster’s main library in St. Louis. Nearby are the cafeteria, a fitness center and gymnasium, and the sports field. University arranged housing is in condominium units located near the beach, approximately 20 minutes from campus.

The Bangkok Academic Center is in the heart of the city. The center contains administrative offices, classrooms with modern facilities, conference room, mini-lounge, and a library.

Activities

Cultural and social events including international events; campus newsletter, recreational sports, field trips, guest lectures. Off-campus golf, swimming, windsurfing and adventure trips.

Year Tuition and Fees – not including summer

Undergraduate: Thai Baht 345,000 (USD 11,000 approx.)
Graduate: Thai Baht 334,36 (USD 10,000 approx.)
Housing: Thai Baht 36,000 (USD 1,100 approx.) for twin share rooms at the student housing.

Financial Aid

Financial aid for US citizens; limited competitive merit based scholarship program with need as a consideration. Bursaries are offered from time to time to support Asian students.

Special Program Features

Transfer opportunities available to Webster University campuses in Europe (Geneva, Leiden, London, and Vienna) and at the home campus in St. Louis, Missouri, U.S.A.; Thailand campus welcomes European and American study-abroad students from Webster campuses and other universities.
