In a hilly green urban campus is Beirut, overlooking the Mediterranean Sea; 20 minutes walk from downtown Beirut.
Accreditations
The university is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education and its degrees are officially registered at the Board of Education of the State of New York and in the Ministry of Higher Education in Lebanon.

Special Program Features
A summer program, under the Office for Regional External Programs, designed to offer children of alumni and friends of AUB in North America a chance to visit the AUB Campus, learn the Arabic language and gain an appreciation of the history and culture of Lebanon and the Arab world.
The Centre for Arab and Middle Eastern Studies (CAMES) summer program in the Arabic language offers courses at five different levels: introductory, high introductory, intermediate, high intermediate and advanced. Placement exams will be administered to all students at the beginning of the program in order to assess the level best suited to their Arabic language ability.
