Location
Temple University, Japan Campus (TUJ) is located in the heart of Tokyo, close to many embassies and minutes away from the Emperor's Palace, the fashion of Shibuya, and the electronics/anime capital of Akihabara.
Accreditations
All degrees awarded by Temple University are accredited in the United States by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education. This accreditation extends to Temple University, Japan Campus (TUJ), which is also the first and only full foreign university recognized by Japan's Ministry of Education.
Facilities
TUJ's campus in Tokyo consists of Azabu Hall, Mita Hall, and the Annex, as well as multiple dormitory facilities. PC and Mac computer labs, a media editing center, student lounges, art studios, a tutoring center, and a counseling center are available. All areas on campus have wireless internet, and classrooms feature full AV capability.
Activities
Student clubs and organizations range from student government to belly dancing and anime to statistics. Guest lectures and seminars bring in top artists, government figures, and businesspeople from around the world. Off-campus events include trips to Kyoto, Hokkaido snow festival, sumo, cherry-blossom viewing, and film and art festivals.

Tuition
Tuition is determined by the number of credits taken per semester. Students on a TUJ-sponsored visa must be enrolled full-time and register for 12 or more credits per semester. Tuition for 12-17 credits is ¥713,600 (as of Fall 2010).
Scholarships
All students that complete their application for admission by the scholarship eligibility deadline and check the applicable box on the application form are automatically considered for scholarships. All scholarships are merit-based, and can be awarded in amounts up to 1 million yen per academic year. More information on scholarships may be found at:

Features
An International Network
With over 50% of the TUJ student body representing over 60 countries other than Japan, student life both in and out of the classroom is truly international. Students are also able to take advantage of Temple's worldwide network of integrated programs and campuses.
Career Development Office
The Career Development Office provides students with assistance and advice on preparing for a career, writing a resume, and interview techniques. Internships are also offered each semester with many world-leading multinational corporations and organizations in Tokyo.
Japanese and multinational companies come to TUJ twice a year for a Career Fair to meet students and talk about career opportunities.
Institute of Contemporary Japanese Studies (ICJS)
ICAS strives to increase understanding of Japan and its culture. The WAKAI project engages students and others in examining issues facing young Japanese, while a series of year-round lectures brings distinguished guest speakers to address topics covering Japanese politics, economics, and culture.
