Special Program Features

All Jacobs University students must complete an 8-week internship during the summer between their second and third years. Such practical experience offers the opportunity to apply academic concepts in practice and to explore possible future occupations. Students also have possibilities to study abroad at various institutions worldwide. Jacobs University has special cooperative exchange and research agreements with, among others, Rice University, the University of Bremen, Carnegie Mellon, Lafayette and Sciences Po - Paris. Through the ERASMUS program, our students may also study as visiting students at universities across Europe.
